Cahaya Negeri

Port Dickson

Pantai Cahaya Negeri is one of PD's largest beaches, situated on a vast coastal strip between 5th and 6th mile of Port Dickson. It has one of the highest densities of family hotels and resorts within the area, owing to its natural beauty, wealth of public facilities and good infrastructure. The main feature along the beach is an artificial cape that houses a recreational park lined with picnic gazebos.

The cape also links to a small mangrove island called 'Pulau Burung' by a wooden bridge, although visitors may stroll there on foot at low tide. A boardwalk on the island leads to a platform where a watchtower provides a panoramic view of PD's coastline. Some of the popular activities here include water sports, boating, fishing, camping and berbeques.
