Beaches are Port Dickson's top tourist attractions, but there also places to go for sightseeing and recreation in the area. Along the coastal road, visitors can see; Wan Loong Chinese Temple, an opulent temple; Army Museum, a showcase of military equipment and history; and Ostrich Farm; where big birds are gathered.
For nature lovers and bird watches, Cape Rachado is a spectacular forest reserve nestled on top a headland, with impressive views of the sea and rich sightings of wildlife. Further out of town, visitors can explore the fishing villages of Teluk Pelanduk and Pasir Panjang south, or Kota Lukut Fort and Museum north of town.
